Description

Incredible new addition to the Parkway Music Gibson Murphy Lab lineup. Signature '58 fat neck profile on a stunning heavy aged Dirty Blonde finish. Special run is limited to 130 instruments each in celebration of Gibson’s 130th Anniversary.

A very special limited run of 1958 ES-335 guitars celebrates the debut of one of the most versatile, game-changing and prolific Gibsons ever made. The ES-335 was the world’s first semi-hollow guitar model, imagined by former Gibson President Ted McCarty who later called it his proudest contribution. It has been in continuous production since its debut with support from countless legendary artists including B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton and Warren Haynes.

This is the new Gibson Custom Shop 1958 ES-335, a reissue which pays tribute to the first year of the ES-335, the model imagined up by Gibson president Ted McCarty who went on to call the guitar one of his proudest contributions.
