The Weekly Roundup - Gift Guide Edition

If you've been on our homepage, you've no doubt seen the big banner for the Holiday Gift Guide. For those who have yet to dive in, I thought we'd cover some of the highlights here ranging from budget friendly items to slightly larger gifts. We'll also take a look at how to filter and find the items you're looking for within the guide. Let's do it!

To start, if you want to check out the gift guide, just click the banner above either here, or on the homepage. That will give you access to all of the items in the guide.

Once there, the sidebar on the left-hand side is going to be your easiest way to navigate through to find what you're looking for. You can use the filters to filter by brand, model, or category. For instance, if you're not interested in drums or folk instruments, simply scroll down and select guitars from the category filter, or on whichever category most appeals to you or your loved one.

Now that you're in, let's take a look at some of the items you can find. The gift guide is filled with small items from every department that would make great stocking stuffers for any musician as well as some great beginner to intermediate instruments -- even some really excellent vintage stuff!

Gift Cards - These are probably our most requested item both in the store and online. We have both digital gift cards for online shopping and physical gift cards for our locals coming to the shop. Note that, if you're buying online and you know the person you're buying for will want to come in the shop, a physical gift card is the way to go. You can still buy it online and we'll mail it to your doorstep.

Starter Packs - We have a good selection of starter packs around the store. Whether you're looking for acoustic, electric, or bass guitar, modular synth, or drums, we've got a pack for you. If you have a loved one that has been dying to get into these instruments, but you don't know where to start, this is the way to go!

Staples - These are items the musician in your life will need all of the time. They're never a bad gift and there's never a bad time to give them. In the guide we have guitar strings, drum sticks, drum heads, cables, and more!

Affordable Instruments - We know that budgets fluctuate and so we've tried to include gear here that accommodates as many folks as possible. We've selected instruments that are great at the beginner to intermediate level, but that still could be used for gigging or recording without breaking the bank. We even managed to throw in a few affordable synths! Remember, if you have a certain budget in mind, you can move the slider at the bottom of the filters to find items just for you. Here's a sample of what's in the list from the $200 - $700 range.

Unexpected Finds - It can be hard to shop for the musician in your life. Some folks are very particular, or you just don't know what gear they have or what gear they need. We've tried here to include some gear that may not be on their radar, but that most people would still be thrilled with. These tend to be at the higher price points, but if you're going all out this holiday, this is a great place to start.

That's gonna wrap it up for this week, but remember, if you have any questions about the gift guide, we're just a comment, chat message, or call away! If you're looking to kill some time this Sunday morning, all of the items in our gift guide will be listed down below. Items are being added as we get them in, so check back often!

Happy scrolling, and as always, thanks for hanging.
